Why is the money donated to Bear Necessities?
This tournament was founded because of a Strikers F.V. Soccer player who was diagnosed with cancer. He was a very athletic kid and his soccer number and favorite number was 56. In 2009 he lost his battle with cancer. We want this tournament to help end cancer and prevent the sufferings of people with cancer as much as possible. And what better way to do it than organizing a whole soccer tournament, the sport which he loved, to help raise money. So please join this cause to win, have fun, and help end cancer!
